What an inspiring day at the Sunnyvale Chamber of Commerce meeting! 🌟 Superintendent Kimball shared key insights about the district's progress and vision for the future with community members. SHS Robotics students Luke Sims and Kenaz Varghese, alongside their teacher Michell Frederiksen, highlighted how the robotics program is shaping their future educational and career plans. It's National Library Week!
The Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo’s Calf Scramble Scholarship Committee announced on March 26 that Sunnyvale High School student and FFA member Corlee Thomas has been awarded a $6,000 scholarship. Thomas is pictured with Fort Worth Stock Show & Rodeo by Calf Scramble Committee Member Paxton Motheral . Thomas earned the scholarship through her hard work and dedication in completing the demanding Calf Scramble program. Her Brangus heifer project was sponsored by the Thornton Family of Dallas, Texas. Scholarship requirements included caring for a heifer, submitting monthly reports, exhibiting at the 2025 Fort Worth Livestock Show, and writing a final essay.
