💼SHS Career Fair: On Monday, March 10 local businesses will be on campus connecting with students and helping them explore career opportunities. Students will also receive feedback on their interview skills and resumes, preparing them for future success. 🤝
SES, SIS and SMS students will participate in:
🏢👷🩺🎼Mon: Career Dress-Up Day - dress like your dream job!
🎓👕Tues: College Shirt Day - Wear your favorite college shirt or colors.
🎖️Wed: Military Day -Wear camo or red, white and blue!
😎Thurs: Neon Day - Celebrate bright futures by wearing neon!
SISD empowers students to explore careers, build connections, and envision their bright futures!


This Friday, March 7, SHS students will have an early dismissal at 12:55 p.m. due to the One Act Play competition happening on campus. This day will function like other early dismissal days for SHS. Lunch will be available for students, and buses will be ready to take SHS students home. SES, SIS, and SMS students will dismiss at the normal, regularly scheduled dismissal times.

Cracking into Learning! 🐓🌟🐔 5th Grade SIS students break into the chicken life cycle thanks to an SEF grant, Ms. Rinestine and her partnership with the Jr FFA and Dr. Stovall! 🎉 Chicks will be sold at the Jr. FFA's 2nd Annual Farmer's Market on March 13! 🐔🥚🐓



It's Public Schools Week! Students at SIS are building hot air balloons in Ms. Stovall's 5th grade class! Through this project they not only are learning about the history of the hot air balloon, but they also are applying cross-curricular skills in reading procedural texts, sequencing, and math skills in measurement, data collections and analysis.

The home softball games for this evening, February 25, have changed times. JV game starts at 5:30pm. Varsity game starts at 7:00pm.


After a lot of hard work from the Superintendent's Roundtable and collaborative input from many SISD stakeholders, the 2025 - 2026 calendar has been finalized.
Additionally:
Inservice will be held August 5-12, 2025.
Convocation: We anticipate this will be on August 6, 2025.
PD Days will be held on the following dates:
September 15 - District
January 6 - Campus
February 16 - split between campus and district
Prep Days:
Two full remote prep days will be on December 1, 2025 and February 13, 2026.


Sunnyvale High School is excited to invite local businesses and professionals to participate in our upcoming Career Fair, Monday, March 10 from 9 a.m.-12 p.m.! This is a unique opportunity for our community businesses to connect with the next generation of talent, share industry insights, and help students prepare for their future careers.
Business partners who wish to participate can get involved in 2 ways.
1- You can host a career booth to showcase your industry OR (2) You can volunteer as a mock interviewee to help students refine their resume and professional skills. Some business/organizations may choose to get involved in both ways!
